The launch of YouTube beauty guru’s new makeup line didn’t go quite so smoothly.
Several of the customers took to Twitter to complain of bumps, hair and even plastic in their new lipsticks. Hill, who launched her beauty line May 30, so far has a line of 18 shades of lipsticks.
Hill tweeted June 11 that she planned on breaking her silence to address the issues regarding her lipsticks. “I have been working hard to gather all of the facts and details so I can give you accurate answers,” Hill tweeted. “I appreciate you allowing me time to wrap my head around all of this and investigate.”

Twitter user glamover35 wrote that she recently purchased three lipsticks from Hill’s new line in shades As If, Fussy and Badass.
“As If, and Fussy had no issues, so far,” glamover35 tweeted. “Unfortunately, after unboxing Badass, I noticed a small piece of synthetic material embedded in the lipstick. I did email customer service. I’m hoping for a satisfactory resolution.”
Glamover35 took two photos with what appear to be synthetic material stuck in an on the lipstick.

Hill responded on her personal twitter June 8 to address the issues customers were dealing with in their orders. “If any of you are receiving lipsticks like this…please know it’s NOT hair!” Hill tweeted. “My factory used brand new white gloves to do quality control & they shed all over my product! We switched to rubber gloves 2 days ago & will make sure this never happens again.”

Others reported little holes and bumpiness in their lipstick orders.
Twitter user Anaa¬_platanoo wrote that her lipstick had bumps and took a picture of it.
“Seems as if those 2 spots in my pic is something pressed into the product,” anaa_platanoo tweeted. “It gives me a streak across my lips when I try to apply it. I’ve emailed and DM’d Jacyln hill cosmetics tho, hopelly I get a response.”
Twitter user Kushnerkylie tweeted she just received her lipsticks in the mail to find them with tiny holes, bumps and what looked like little hairs.
Hill tweeted that she was working to address the issues with the texture.
“My team and I are working very hard on finding out EXACTLY what caused the “gritty & bumpy texture on some of my lipsticks. I’m so sorry to see some of you dissatisfied with my product. I will make it right for you & learn from this mistake! That’s a promise”
