Buckeye, AZ Offers Free Fitness in the Park

The city of Buckeye, AZ is doing something right!  They are offering free fitness classes in an outdoor setting.  Classes are provided by The City of Buckeye Recreation. Fitness in the Park takes place every Tuesday night from 6:30 – 7:30 pm.  This class offers a total body workout geared for weight loss and strength.  Yoga and Pilates combined are what make up this class, taught by a fitness professional.  And the best part… this class is totally free!

So many of us launched into 2019 with resolutions abound!  One of the most common resolutions is to get fit, drop some weight, and be healthier.  The city of Buckeye is making that a reality by offering free classes for any fitness level.

The City of Buckeye Recreation is offering this class to whoever wants to attend.  You don’t even have to sign up, you can just show up to join.  This class takes out the headaches of your typical Yoga or Pilates classes.  There is no membership, no fees (which means no cancellation fee), no pressure!  You can simply drop by Sundance Park any Tuesday night to get started.

This is not the only class they are offering.  They do a Wednesday evening Zumba in the Park as well as a variety of classes Monday – Thursday.  This makes it super easy to drop in any of those nights at 6:30 pm, because you know that there will be something going on.  As long as the weather is nice (not hard to come by in Arizona) class will be happening.  If you are looking to get fit, make new friends, and do it all without making a dent in your wallet, this is the place for you.

Not every city offers these types of free fitness classes, so if you are in the Buckeye area, you should definitely take advantage.  This is a warm and welcoming group, so even if you are shy or weary of group classes you will feel welcomed.  You don’t have to be a Yogi or a Zumba master to join in the fun.  An outdoor setting will give you a nature fix as well as offer you an hour of fresh air and fitness.  Classes also provide you with a routine, so you don’t have to wander the gym trying to figure out equipment, sets or reps.
